OPLITE USA Inc. (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We serve customers in the United States and Canada.
3.1 Information we collect
- Information you provide: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and order details. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by our payment provider, not stored by us.
- Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser data, pages viewed, and similar analytics data, including through cookies and similar technologies.
3.2 How we use your information
To process and fulfill orders; arrange shipping; provide customer support; process payments; prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations (including tax and customs); operate and improve the Site; and, where permitted, send marketing communications (which you can opt out of at any time).
3.3 How we share your information
We share personal information with service providers that help us operate, including:
- our e-commerce platform (Shopify);
- payment processors;
- our logistics/fulfillment provider (Skipper) and shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx) to deliver your order;
- tax-compliance and analytics providers;
- our parent company, OPLITE Corp SAS (France), for internal administration.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable law. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
3.4 International transfers
Your information may be processed or stored by our service providers and our parent company outside your country, including in the European Union (France). We take reasonable measures to protect it consistent with this policy.
3.5 Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and (where applicable) marketing. You can manage your choices through our cookie banner and your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality. See our Cookie Notice (Section 8) for details. Residents of Quebec and California have specific rights regarding tracking technologies (see Section 3.6).
3.6 Your privacy rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information; to obtain a portable copy; and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share your information). You may also limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring an opt-out). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota, Maryland, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, and additional states as their laws take effect): you generally have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information, to obtain a portable copy, to opt out of targeted advertising and of any sale of personal information, and to appeal a refusal to act on your request.
Opt-out preference signals: where required by law, we honor recognized universal opt-out mechanisms, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC).
Canadian residents (PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25): you have the right to access, correct, and withdraw consent to the use of your personal information, and to be informed about how it is collected and used. Residents of Quebec have additional rights under Law 25, including regarding profiling and tracking technologies, and the right to receive communications in French.
Marketing (CAN-SPAM / CASL): we send marketing emails only with your consent where required, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

3.7 Data retention and security
We retain personal information as long as needed for the purposes described and to meet legal/tax requirements (typically up to the applicable tax record-keeping period). We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
3.8 Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
