Limited Warranty

6.1 Coverage

OPLITE USA Inc. warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of delivery.

6.2 What is not covered

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, unauthorized modification or repair, normal wear and tear, or use that is not in accordance with the product instructions.

6.3 Remedy

If a valid defect is reported within the warranty period, OPLITE USA Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product, or refund the purchase price.

6.4 How to make a claim

To make a warranty claim, contact us at contact@oplite-usa.com with your order number and a description of the defect. We may ask for photos or for the product to be returned for inspection.

6.5 Return shipping

If a product is returned for a warranty claim, OPLITE USA Inc. provides a prepaid return label; the customer is not charged for return shipping on an approved claim.

6.6 Implied warranties

NOT APPLICABLE TO QUEBEC CONSUMERS: the following paragraph does not apply to consumers residing in Quebec.

Any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the twelve (12) month period of this Limited Warranty. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

6.7 Exclusion of damages

NOT APPLICABLE TO QUEBEC CONSUMERS: the following paragraph does not apply to consumers residing in Quebec.

OPLITE USA Inc. is not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from a breach of this warranty. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

6.8 Legal rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State. This limited warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. For consumers in Canada, this warranty is in addition to the legal warranty provided by provincial law, including the Quebec Consumer Protection Act. Consumers residing in Quebec benefit from the legal warranties that goods be fit for their normal use and remain so for a reasonable length of time; this 12-month Limited Warranty does not restrict their duration or exercise.
